GIG: LALA LALA/ MAGIC POTION/ MAUER
Lillie West is the American musician behind Lala Lala, who specialises in melancholic indie-rock poised between sludgy and scrappy charm. After releasing her album The Lamb last year, she kicked off this year with the single Siren 042, a collaboration with WHY?, and she’s now coming to Stockholm. She’s joined at this live show at Melodybox by gum-rockers Magic Potion and Mauer.

GIG: DOJA CAT
You might know Doja Cat from when when she went ‘viral’ last year (everyone says it so it must be true) with her song Mooo!, which was a rap song about being a cow. Yep. She’s got more to her than just a gag hit though, with a number of tracks of slick, larger than life hip-hop. The LA artist is coming to Stockholm for a show at Nalen on Friday.

THEATRE HIGHLIGHT: TOTAL STRUKTURALITET
KonstAB (Filip Aladdin, Ossian Melin and Anton Hellström) may not consider themselves theatre people (Aladdin: “I have limited experience with theatre. I think it gives us freedom, because we don’t know all the rules”), but their surrealist ‘Total’ plays have caused some of the biggest stir of any theatrical pieces in Sweden over the last few years. The third and final edition of the trilogy, Total Strukturalitet, explores ‘fascism, astral projection and esoterism and the Swedish culture scene’, and the plot opens with a murder at Moderna Museet. It opens at Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra in February.
