An important part of the summer months in Stockholm is Parkteatern, and the season is truly on the way as they’ve announced their programme for 2019. As per usual, their schedule is jam-packed, with 63 different shows across 43 venues. The season kicks off on May 31 in Vitabergsparken, with the circus-theatre piece Elvira Madigan, directed by Anna Ståhl. Elivra Madigan is a love story that blends circus, theatre and dance, all for a big start to the Parkteatern season. Albin Flinkas, artistic director at Parkteatern, says: “I can’t imagine a better way to start this year’s loaded season at Parkteatern!”

Another piece of big news from this year’s announcement is that Parkteatern is coming to Slakthusområdet, in the form of three nights of SALONG FUX, Robert Fux’s variety show.

Parkteatern opens on May 31 and runs all summer.
