Summer is burning out slowly and lazily, and one of the biggest landmarks of that as we chase down the last few days of August is that Trädgården is coming to the end of its programme. For example, this week we find ourselves left with the year’s final Live Session. Happily however, they’ve put together a top-shelf line-up to see the Live Sessions off for another year.

Södra Sverige, the rock supergroup with members of Les Big Byrd and Viagra Boys top the bill. Then there’s Linn Koch-Emmery, who might be Sweden’s hardest-working and most-travelled indie star at the moment, having played over 40 shows around Europe this year. The guitar-sludge-meets-melody songs from her excellent Boys and Waves EPs have been sharpened up on the road this summer, and with new music on the way, there might even be a chance of a preview of a few new songs. Wrapping the line-up up is Manuela Iwansson, who released her debut EP, Dream Lover, packed with a mix of 80s pop and swaggering rock, last year. Tickets are 150kr.
