The noodle soups from Södermalm have found yet another home in Stockholm. Ai Ramen has opened their second location on Gamla Brogatan 27.

“We think it feels so much fun to have the possibility to do something in the old Klara neighbourhood. We all have a relationship with Gamla Brogatan as it was an exciting address in the city centre. We’re hoping to contribute in making the street a vibrant meeting point again. An echo from times gone by, penetrating the soulless bubble that commercial interests have created,” says founder Erik Rehnby.

The restaurant is also offering a larger bar, and has recruited Daniél Rask from Häktet as bar manager. Bar Pitch, as it’s called, is an homage to record store Pitch Control that was located on the same address about 20 years ago.
