Shibumi
This year’s edition of the Guide Michelin for the Nordic countries saw the introduction of three new Bib Gourmands – good food at moderate prices – in Stockholm. The Shibumi izakaya is one of chef Sayan Isaksson’s venues, and it has gained a good reputation thanks to its small gastronomic treats, its heavenly cocktails and its great atmosphere.
Kagges
Kagges serves a la carte grub from a menu with a range of mid-sized mains and a few desserts, all inspired by Nordic cuisine and connections with the rest of the world. They have also managed to squeeze in seating for just over 30 in the tiny dining room.
Bar Agrikultur
Agrikultur’s little sibling Bar Agrikultur is located across town, in Södermalm. The focus is on Nordic comfort food, local gin, and cold beer in small glasses, just like in Barcelona, making this a bustling spot and popular with the local hipster crowd.
