Emer Ní Chíobháin is an Irish multi-disciplinary artist working with a focus on mixed media and lens media. Her new exhibition ImageObject uses techniques like light-coding technology, mesh imagery, holographic projection and 3D photography to explore and recast the human body as an abstract concept, transforming it from the everyday to something dehumanised and strange. It’s on display at Detroit from December 2-7, and opens today at 18.
