How are you planning to spend next Saturday? Because getting a head start on festival season sounds like a pretty good option, doesn’t it? That’s what visitors to Lilla Essingen will have the chance to do this weekend, as a one-day free festival comes to the island. Oscar Properties, with the help of the Popaganda crew, have organised a festival on Primus Park on the island, and they’ve booked in three musical acts to provide the artistic draw. Min Stora Sorg, who released the concept album BITCH LOVER CHILD MOTHER SINNER SAINT last year, is the headliner, and they’ll be joined by indie-poppers La Lusid and art-pop star Maia Hirasawa. There’ll also be food trucks from the likes of Taqueria El Sombrero, Milner’s Fish & Chips and M Creperie as well as a boules tournament and other festival-ish activities. The festival grounds open at 14:00 and it runs until 20:00.
