Fotografiska are celebrating a lot of anniversaries these days. After we brought you news of their eighth anniversary and related book The Eye in our last issue, they’ve now moved on to celebrate the fifth anniversary of their open-application exhibition Höstsalongen. The exhibition, for which a jury selects the best entries from thousands of applications to put together a collection of the best new talents in Swedish photography, now has a new name too, Fotografiska Talent. “It’s a tribute to all of Sweden’s photographers, established as well as amateurs, and everyone in Sweden who’s interested in photography”, says Wiktoria Michalkiewicz, exhibition producer at Fotografiska Stockholm.
