It’s not a huge amount of time since Alt-J (the band named after the computer manoeuvre ) were last on these shores, the three-piece having played Popaganda last summer. This time however, it’s their own show. After emerging back in 2012 with their Mercury Prize winning debut An Awesome Wave, Joe Newman, Thom Sonny Green and Gus Unger-Hamilton have now established their lithe, nimble innovative indie rock across three albums. The latest of those, Relaxer, dropped last year, and that’s what they’ll be touring here, presumably with a similar kind of impressive light show they brought to Popaganda. Indie-rock talent Marika Hackman supports.
