Stockholm indie gang Melby (Matilda Wiezell, Are Engen Steinsholm, David Jehrlander and Teo Jernkivst) have a debut EP on the way, and they’ve been prepping the way with some singles recently. ‘Cross’ is a skittering, breezy piece of indie-pop, while their latest release ‘Pat’, which dropped just yesterday, is a more abrasive and raw song, a grungy piece of alt-rock. The Melby EP is out on May 19 on Rama Lama Records, but if you want to catch a sneak preview of what it might sound like, they’re playing at Hemma Hos Fanny tonight at Bar Brooklyn. It kicks off at 18.
