Comprised of Tuva Lodmark and Nelly Daltrey, Gothenburg duo Pale Honey recently released their self-titled debut album to considerable acclaim. With their raw, elemental White Stripesian sound, their songs often start quietly before exploding into enormous riffs. But that rock power doesn’t mean that they’ve neglected the melodic side of things – Pale Honey boast some of the best choruses of the year. Support comes from Stockholm synthpop band Kulturskyming.
