Lili Araujo & Gustav Lundgren @ Mornington Hotel, September 25

This international project is just great. I mean, putting together a Brazilian singer with talented, Swedish musicians would ultimately seem like a great move. Which it is, and that’s proven on the album Passageiros (I would think that means passengers, without Googling it).

The air is filled with Brazilian heat and passion, and the instruments, all played by Swedes, could just as well be played by native Brazilian musicians. The albums breathes of a vagabond existence, where traveling and experiencing life is central parts.

Lili Araujo and Gustav Lundgren has made something very unique and amazing with their project. The combination of Araujo’s deep, soothing voice and Lundgren’s quick, jazzy fingers is magical. It has taken them around Europe so far, and now it’s Stockholm’s turn being host.

Catch them at the always comfortable Mornington Hotel. You won’t regret it.
