The touring exhibition Magic City – The Art Of The Street is a celebration of the world of graffiti, an exhibition that collects material from the modern beginnings of the artform in the mid-twentieth century to its present day artists and exponents. With a mix of work created specially for the exhibition and pieces borrowed from other collections, it aims to be an immersive experience for fans of graffiti and other street art.
The exhibition is now entering its last month in Stockholm, but it’s not slowing down. Two new works have been added for February. ANTIDOTE is a exhibition by street artist Frida Stiil Vium, and there’s also a collaboration between illustrator Andy J. Miller and designer Andrew Neyer called Color Me. This involves a white wall coloured with bright markers, with even the exhibition’s guests invited to contribute. There’ll also be more workshops where visitors can meet and quiz the artists about their work. And they’ll have special opening hours, including openings till midnight on February 23 and 24 and March 2 and 3.
