Stureplan recently found itself home to a new venue. The Hotel Kung Carl has opened up the jazz club Innergården in their light garden, with live music pencilled in for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The club is inspired, in both decor and atmosphere by the 1920s period of the hotel’s 150-plus year-old history, when the Kung Carl was a vibrant part of the city’s nightlife scene, and one of the few places in the city to have a permit for live music and dancing.
“Our guests can expect swinging tunes from both established and unknown artists”, says Kung Carls Bakficka CEO Jan Andersson. “It will be a pleasant place to hang in our bar with its fantastic acoustics and historic environment”.
Innergården is open now, and its season runs until December 15.
