CLUB: &ME + ADAM PORT
“My absolute favourite producers and DJs in the whole world, &me and Adam Port from the label Keinemusik, are back on July 19”. So said Trädgården’s Johanna Beckman when we asked her for her season highlights at the club a while back. Now that day is finally here, and on Friday, the duo from the Berlin house and techno label are in town, joined in the Garden by Anna Korsgren and Moa Lönnö.

FILM: APOLLO 11
This year marks fifty years since man hit the moon (unless you believe it was faked, in which case it’s fifty years since Stanley Kubrick made his greatest film), and there’s plenty going on to celebrate it. One of those things is Apollo 11, a new documentary about the moon landing by director Todd Douglas Miller. You can watch in on Saturday, July 20, the official 50th anniversary, when they show it at Bio Victoria (English with Swedish subs).

DANCE: DANSBANA
ArkDes hosted the exhibition Public Luxury a while back, a look at the future of shared spaces. A product of that exhibition is now coming to ArkDes over the summer, with the organisation DansBana!, which works for public dance spaces, creating an outdoor dancefloor at the art space. Made of wood and steel, the floor can be booked or dropped in on by museum visitors, and guests can hook it up to their phone to play music via Bluetooth. It’s open all summer.
