One of Poland’s most acclaimed and controversial artists, Katarzyna Kozyra, is  exhibiting at Kulturhuset now.

Her art is intense and provocative. She challenges cultural taboos, gender identities, private behavior, and conventional norms of beauty. Kozyra frequently deals with fundamental issues of life and her art often elicits extreme reactions and heated public discussions.

The Rite of Spring, an artistic reinterpretation of Igor Stravinsky’s Rites of Spring, is one of her most recognized works.

Kozyra’s exhibition at Kulturhuset comprises of installations, video works and photos from the past twenty years and is running now until January 6. More info here.
