 Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door

Södra Teatern is taking Stockholm’s club scene up a notch with Martin Johansson’s latest concept 7th Heaven. Martin has played host at Berns, created clubs for F12, and run Slakthuset before landing a job as boss of Södra Teatern and began his tenure with the hugely successful Sober nightclub this fall. According to him, things are about to change a hell of a lot at Södra.

Here’s the deal with 7th Heaven: It’s a club that’s on every seventh night, run by seven party promoters, on the seventh floor of Mosebacke. Oh, and you need a key to run the elevator all the way up there. “There have been some exclusive clubs in Stockholm before, like the Gold Room at Spy Bar for example, but this is the first time something like this has been done at Söder”.

“The mood we’re thinking for this is basically an Elton John that lost all his money in the 90s but is still living in his tacky, golden, art deco apartment, drinking champagne and glamming it up. It’s going to be like a decadent home party, with the best view in Stockholm.”

7th Heaven premiered at Södra Teatern on Nov. 14th and is on every Fri. night
