Vårsalong at Liljevalchs is one of the most anticipated parts of the annual art calendar in the city. This year’s edition opens up in January, with 254 works on display from 136 participants, chosen from 3538 applications. Vårsalongen is notable for the range and variety of the works displayed – this year’s selection features 79 women and 57 men, artists ranging in age from 18 to over 90 and includes paintings, sculptures, textiles and more. Last year saw a record 122, 146 visitors, a record they’ll be looking to break this time out.
