Swedish/ Australian duo Kate Boy first popped up on the radar back in 2012 when they put out the single ‘Northern Lights’, a trippy slice of dub-pop. They’ve since kept up their moment with a series of singles (as well as remixes for the likes of Tove Lo) and recently dropped their debut album One, an album crammed with the kind of high-octane pop songs the band made their name with. And tonight at Göta Källare you get the chance to see them bring those songs to life on stage, as their tour lands in Stockholm.
Supporting the band is Stockholm-based producer and musician Adam Öhman, who operates under the name Mountain Bird. We brought you news of his last single ‘Dream’, a crisply-produced piece of atmospheric synth-pop, back in October and a debut full-length is planned for 2016.
