The Danish producer and artist Lydmor spent some time living in Shanghai over the last couple of years, and her time in that city of extreme urbanisation, where dramatic wealth and poverty live side by side, provided the creative fuel for her new album I Told You I’d Tell Them Our Story. That album’s mix of bold music choices and philosophical journeys through the themes confronting hyper-modern life have won her plenty of critical praise, and she’s taking it out on tour this winter. Her shows are spectacular visual affairs, and you’ll have the chance to see one brought to live at Obaren tonight.
