Here and Now @ Artipelag

“HÄR/NU –  Ett fysiskt möte i tid och rum” (HERE/NOW  – A physical meeting in time and space) is the latest exhibit at the art space Artipelag in Värmdö, right in the archipelago. You know that you can still visit, even though it’s no longer summer, right?

We meet a range of artists, such as Mamma Andersson, Anastasia Ax, Jens Fänge, Clay Ketter and John Kørner in this exhibition that discusses being in the now. What can be more timely than narrowing in on mindfulness in 2014, when smartphones and laptops clutter our minds and force their users out of just sitting there, being. The idea is that the spatial meeting between the piece of art and the watcher creates a dialogue, one that can be likened to a conversation between two people.

But for you to properly ”meet” the piece, you have to be there. Here, and now. Give it a shot.
