Okay, this one starts off with a scary proposal: you will have to put down your phones for a while. Rum brand Zapaca has created pop-up restaurant, Nuet, that toured Sweden last April. Now it’s guesting at Timmarmansgatan’s Paradiso, with a menu created by chef Edin Dzemat, a former winner of Tv4’s cooking contest Kockarnas Kamp, and will have a bar run by the award-winning Josephine Sondlo. Nuet is intended to be an immersive experience, one that focuses the guests’ attentions on their meals and their conversations: for that reason, the exact menu will only be revealed after the meal has finished, so that the visitors get the chance to think about and theorise about the food themselves. This time around there’s also an extra focus on awaking all the senses, so violinist Andreas Bernitt has been recruited to provide music composed especially for the evening.  And so that people can concentrate on food and conversation, guests will have to turn off their phones for the duration of the meal. If you can survive that, it’s at Paradiso on Wednesda.
