For over 15 years, Red Bull Music Academy has been hosting and executing the infamous Weekender festivals, and as a follow up to the success of last years’ inaugural event in Stockholm they invade our city yet again for a weekend full of bass, booze, beats and booty-shaking.
This time though, the festival will not carry out its antics in venues all across the city but in one venue, cutting out commuting times so that the party fills every minute of the 48 hours that the attendees crave.
Södra Teatern, with its various mini-venues on site, will see over 50 artists performing on seven stages, delivering what the Red Bull Music Academy Weekender has become notorious for – the latest artists in the undeniably ideal package of everything a festival should be, finely condensed into one weekend.
With a line-up consisting names like Todd Terje, Mad Professor and Gnucci the days of October 31st through November st are destined to be loud, wild and provide for a dreadful yet oh-so-worth-it Monday.
Red Bull gives you wings and brings the ruckus.
