70 million people around the world celebrate St. Patrick’s Day every year and just like Irish community worldwide the celebrations are growing! Here in Sweden there are plenty ways to celebrate this Irish holiday and on Saturday 19 March Stockholm’s annual St. Patrick’s Day parade, organized by the Swedish-Irish association with the Irish Embassy, will take place, painting the town green and red and everything in between. The parade will be complete with lots of green outfits, drinking, happy participants and exciting live music. The tailgating will commence at Humlegården at 15:00 and closing  in the Old Town.

You can also visit your  local Irish pubs like, The Liffey  in Old Town or The International  on Norrlandsgatan, to experience live music, dancing and festivities throughout St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
