Highlight: Makthaverskan / Westkust
Gothenburg is pumping out an endless stream of fantastic indie bands at present, and two of the most promising are sharing the bill at Debaser Medis this Friday. Makthaverskan have made their name with two albums of spiky indie-rock (2009’s Makthaverskan and 2013’s Makthaverskan II) and lit up Austin’s SXSW festival this year, while Westkust’s postrock debut Last Forever earned equally impressive reviews. Catch them this Friday at 1900.
