Sveriges Kortfilmfestival (SKFF) has a hell of a tradition behind it, with this year’s edition set to be its 61st. This one is a festival for the film fanatics: SKFF aims to put the focus on the non-commercial films that might otherwise be overlooked, and create dialogue and interest around the medium. This year’s festival takes place over four days at Bio Rio in Hornstull and offers some of the best Swedish shorts around. In addition to the film showings, there will also be competitions across several categories, and this year’s theme is “Identity”, and the ways and forms it can be defined and debated in today’s society.
