Just in case you haven’t heard, and have somehow missed the posters plastered all over the entire city, the Swedish House Mafia are making their comeback this summer after five years on the ice with a bunch of shows at the Tele2. One of the people that’s been with them for the entirety of their story is the artist Alexander Wessely, and he brings the group to visual life in this short exhibition at Fotografiska. Consisting of photos and video art, it attempts to find a visual expression of the group’s dramatic sound. The band say “Alexander has followed our journey in a way no-one else could. He sees, hears and interprets everything we do on a visual plane. His unbelievably strong aesthetic is close to our hearts, and mirrors our lives’ journey perfectly”.
