After Blasieholmen’s Radisson Blu Strand Hotel underwent a full renovation over the course of 2017, and the The Strand Brasserie & Bar, the hotel’s restaurant, bar, and general nightlife zone, was a major part of it. And just as they’ve renovated the interior, they’ve rebuilt their nightlife plans for spring this year. They’ve announced plans for live, all-night DJ sets on Thursday and Fridays, playing everything from afro-beats and jazz to soul and R’n’B. Armin Semovic, in charge of Events and Communications at The Strand, says “We’re focusing on giving our visitors a unique feeling of modern decadence, with the twist that it also feels Scandinavian and fresh”. They season opens on January 25, and the DJs booked for the first two months are listed below.
