In Stadsteatern’s showpiece play for this season, Marie Göranzon takes the role of Claire Zachanassian, an old dame who returns to her hometown for the first time in forty-five years. A welcome committee awaits her there, with the hope that her enormous wealth can save the town, with her old lover Alfred Ill in the lead, who says he has her wrapped around his finger. Claire however, is more independent than anyone imagines. Besök av en gammal dam is a star-packed black comedy than runs through spring.
