Posted December 7, 2017 in Food & Drink

Bullar & Bröd Stenugnsbageri
The city is overflowing with new bakeries producing high quality loafs. Recently opened is Bullar & Bröd Stenugnsbageri in Östermalm. Founded by Gabriel di Grado (Baker of the Year in 2015) and Linda Alving, their signature is ‘Vinnarbrödet’, a loaf made of Khorasan kamut wheat and roasted sesame seeds.

Nockeby Bageri
Another award-winning baker to open shop is Håkan Johansson who, together with Gateau’s former partner Fredrik Ekman, has thrown open the doors to the petit and stylish Nockeby Bageri. Johansson, who won the World Champion title in Baking in 2014, is best known for his croissants, made from only organic ingredients.

Magnus Johansson Bageri & Konditori
Celebrity baker Magnus Johansson, famous for having created the dessert for the Nobel Prize’s annual banquet for over ten years, has opened a bakery and pastry shop in Hammarby Sjöstad. We particularly love ‘Johanssons vita’, a beautiful cold-rise wheat-sourdough loaf.
