HIGHLIGHT: DEATH TEAM
Death Team describe their music as a blend of Abba and Eminem. That’s a pretty good description, although I would lean more towards describing them as a pop culture Frankenstein, as if someone figured out how to take every idea that’s ever hit the internet and mash them all together into 3-minute songs, Tumblr art aesthetic matched to super-sharp pop melodies. It’s a lot of fun, especially live, so their party at Debaser Strand on April 15 should be well worth checking out. The show will also feature live performances from Ängie and Adam Chiapponi, and electronic duo Systraskap will be helping out on the art direction side of things. With a host of DJs and promised ‘special guests’, it’s an evening you should make sure not to miss.
