VIDEO GAMES: SUPER MARIO HELG

The little Italian plumber (has he ever done any plumbing though?) Mario is probably the most well-known video game character ever, and this weekend Stockholms Spelmuseum are paying tribute to him. They’ve collected a wide range of Mario games, and have a bunch of small Italian superhero related activities.

MARKET: STOCKHOLMS BÄSTA JULMARKNAD

It’s still November, but Christmas is already taking over more and more of our everyday lives (the trees are already up around the city). And in another sign that it’s that time of year, Skansen’s Julmarknad is open for the first time this weekend. It returns three times in December.

MUSIC: MUSIC FOR THE LISTENING WITH HNNY

GIG: BLACK BEACH BABY

What do we know about Black Beach Baby? Not an awful lot: they only formed a few months ago, and only have one single out. But that single, ‘Nothing’, is an enjoyably peppy, wistful piece of lush indie-pop. They play at Bar Brooklyn on Friday.
