ART: THE MONOCHROME SYMPHONY
What is the Monochrome Symphony? It’s an exploration of the impact of explorations in monochrome in art, built around Kazimir Malevich’s 1915 painting Black Square. It delves deep into the artform, examining the use of monocrohome by artists in art, design, fashion and music.

English singer Alice Russell will come to Kägelbanan for what will be her first performance on Swedish soil. One of her most notable collaborations was an appearance as a guest vocalist on ‘Men Will Do Anything’ from the Fatboy Slim and David Byrne concept album, Here Lies Love. Her most recent album, 2013’s To Dust, was given a three-and-a-half star rating by Rolling Stone, who said it “works Russell’s exquisite taste for beats and atmosphere into some of her strongest songs”. CLUBBING: BANGERS ‘N’ MASH
We all get itchy feet sometimes, and Bangers ‘N’ Mash is no exception. After ten years at Marie Laveau. The Brit-pop club, run by Robert Plasczyk and Magnus Carlson has seen some big names drop by in the past, including Ian McCulloch of Echo & The Bunnymen and Carl Barat of the Libertines as well as Sweden’s very own Håkan Hellström. Saturday marks their second outing in their new home.
CLASSICAL: YOUNG-CHOON PARK @ MUSIKALISKA
Young-Choon Park grew up a prodigious pianist, beginning her education at four and giving her first recital at seven, and time has in no way diminished her talents. You can catch her performing the music of Beethoven and Schubert at Musikaliska on Sunday

COMEDY: MISSION IMPROVIBLE @ BOULEVARDTEATERN
Mission Improvible is wild, unpredictable action somehow contained and packed into a two hour comedy show. This English-language show features Micke Blomqvist, Josh Lenn, Anders Petterqvist, Katarina Wahlberg and Mia Wallin in the lead roles.
