Maintenance Art Works
Marabouparken Konsthall and Konsthall C are currently showing works centered around the silent, hidden domestic work of women – the kind of work that is noticed only when it is neglected, but taken for granted when it is done.
This encompasses the first Swedish showing of Mierle Laderman Ukele’s work, with an exhibition and also a series of events.
They are also showing From Her House with works by Anna Sjödahl, Margaret Raspé and Joanna Lombard.
And don’t miss the film program with artistic explorations of the home and the gender division in the domestic work. See lots of video, photography, film and art on the theme until April 26th.
