Heralded fashion designer and Beckmans alumni Lars Wallin celebrates a star-studded 25-year career by bringing his work to Artipelag. The exhibition first premiered at Prince Eugene’s Waldemarsudde in 2011 and has since resided in several top galleries and museums in Sweden. Stockholmers now have another chance to look at approximately 200 of Wallin’s fashion creations.

However, this isn’t just a rehashed version of what you might have seen in 2011. Lars Wallin – Fashion Stories will display many fashion creations that have never been shown to the public before.

The exhibition will take the viewer on a journey from the design’s conception to its haute couture completion. There’s everything from high fashion to stage costumes, with plenty of bridal dresses and jewellery in between. Visitors will even have a chance to feel the fabrics.

Lars Wallin – Fashion Stories, on display at Artipelag until Mar 12.
