Twins 2

Overall winner of the Google Photography Prize, Viktor J Fremling, is displaying work from his photo series called Twins at the NAU Gallery from April 25 to May 25.

Flemling was introduced to photography as a youth while working as a graphic designer at a local newspaper. The adventures and stories that the staff photographers told inspired him to buy a camera.

For one year, he worked as a sailor in French Polynesia, where he photographed the crew aboard a fishing vessel. Based on the portfolio of work he captured Viktor went on to study photojournalism at the Nordic Photo School, from where he graduated in February 2013. He has already had his work exhibited at the prestigious Saatchi Gallery in London.

Twins consists of six black and white photographs of identical twins between the ages of 12 and 84- years-old.
