If you’re a Francophile, or just a cheese and wine aficionado of any kind, then you should probably make a trip to Brasserie Balzac this week. They’re hosting the ‘Tour de France des fromages’, a special selection of cheeses from different regions of France, paired with white wines and drinks from the same regions. “Cheese is an important part of the French kitchen, and it’s therefore been a constant on our menu since we opened Balzac just over a year ago”, says Bogdan Monciu, COO at Brasserie Balzac. “Now we want to give French cheeses a little extra spotlight. And for the best taste experience, we have chosen wines and cheeses made in the same regions and created a scrumptious taste combination”. Tour de France des fromages continues until April 2.
