Your mouth, that is. Because otherwise you might not be hungry when December – the month of the year when Swedes tend to eat the most food – comes around.

Swedish chef Pontus Frithiof seems to have a soft spot food Christmas food, as several of his establishments offer special holiday menus. At his Solna Business Park location, the traditional *julbord* food feast can be accompanied by champagne, in addition to the regular preferred beverages of *glögg* (mulled wine), schnapps and beer.

Tired of the *julbord* and looking to step it up a notch? Try the ‘Joy to the World’ menu at his city location Pontus!, where a six-course dinner inspired by the flavours and scents of the holidays will be served up until December 20.
