Drink This Now:

Lion’s Tail

Why:

– Because I am a real sucker for whiskey sours, and this particular cocktail is a brilliant and spicy version of it. Lion’s Tail is a bourbon sour prepared with lime juice and all-spice simple syrup – shaken and served in a pre-chilled coupette glass.

How:

– A carefully-crafted cocktail should always be enjoyed in a beautiful setting.

Where:

– Either you juice your own lime and cook your own all spice-flavoured simple syrup at home, or you can find a reason to come down to Teaterbaren, located next to Teatergrillen, and keep your fingers crossed that Lion’s Tail is featured on the cocktail menu that day.

But hurry, because the cocktail usually sells like hot cakes.

As told by bartender Mathin Lundgren, head bartender at Teaterbaren and Teatergrillen. Lundgren is also the author of Barmästarens manual – ‘The Bartender’s Manual’ – from publishing house Norstedts.
