A homage to the art of theatre according to Dagens Nyheter, the stage adaptation of Fanny och Alexander is returning on the back of 111 sold out shows earlier this year. Here, Bergman’s four Oscars-winning film is in the hands of director Stefan Larsson with many of the leading names of Swedish theatre in the cast. The four hour long drama will premiere its rerun at Nov 1 and will be showing until December 15th.

Aftera  guest appearance in the US capital the show gained critical acclaim from from the Washington Post. “It’s a lovely theatrical diorama, brimming with craft and intelligence, and an example of how artfully considered a stage adaptation can be.”
