The limited-edition lighting and furniture design company has struck a chord with the Swedes, making Stockholm the largest community of followers outside London. A wild guess is that the ones stuck in the proverbial Stockholm all-white interiors are ready to bring some splashes of the dark and rich hues from the Buster + Punch palette to our part of the world. Drawing on fashion, music, tattoos and motorcycles – all categories of which are of great importance to fashion-conscious Stockholmers eager to be in the know – the collections consist of a wide range of objects; brass hooks, jewellery, a number of different light fixtures, naked light bulbs, cool quilted black leather pillows and opulent furniture. The all-new Hero Light is inspired by blacksmiths of yesterday but refined to make a statement in a contemporary interior setting, and features typical Buster + Punch detailing such as knurled brass and carbon filament lamps. All the Buster + Punch objects are designed in London by designer Massimo Buster Minale and for sale at their new store at Artillerigatan 29, smack in the middle of Östermalm.
