Ebbot Lundberg releases The Homo Futurus EP on May 23 and embarks on the big summer tour. On a number of gigs, including one at Medis, Ebbot will be the compass of the Indigo Children, consisting of musicians from side effects.

Ebbot Lunderg has made a name for himself as the frontman of not one, but two of Swedish rock history’s best and most important bands. With the Union Carbide Productions chaotic and provocative rock and roll he gained international cult status during the second half of the 80s. But it was with the band that was born from Carbide rubble that Ebbot seriously laid the world at his feet.

The Soundtrack of Our Lives was formed in 1995 and released the year after their debut album Welcome to the Infant Freebase, which was awarded with a Grammy Award for Best Newcomer. The band’s strength laid well in the puzzle of the six members’ distinctive characters representing the openness to allow all possible sources of inspiration included in the music. During the seventeen years the band released eight albums , toured the world and had huge hits like Instant Repeater 99 and Sister Surround.

In Ebbots musical universe cosmic psychedelic debauchery intermingled with a maximum of earthy physical attack. Subtle pop melodies and a pure, uncontrollable primal force. In his work there is a lot of freedom and openness to various collaborations and musical expression.

As a solo artist he has released The Homo Erectus EP (2013) and a series of singles and the 45-minute experimental piece There ‘s Only One Of Us Here (2012). He has also produced mini-album Sex Tracks in A Laxask with interpretations of So Much Better.

With a big voice, charisma, humour and a distinctive expression Ebbot Lundberg belongs to our foremost artists.
