Tromsø-born, London-based musician Dagny, it’s safe to say, is on the fast track to pop stardom. She only released her first single, the monster-chorused ‘Backbeat’ (premiered by Apple Radio’s Zane Lowe), in 2015, and since then she has been on nearly every list of next big things going, including Vevo DSCVR’s 2016 Ones To Watch series.
She released her debut EP Ultraviolet last year, five songs of electronic-tinged pop and, after some rescheduling, plays her first Stockholm show at Bar Brooklyn in February. It’s highly doubtful she’ll be playing so small a venue next time she’s in town, so catch her while you still can. Julia Adams supports.
