Since 1998 Thomas Meinecke, originally a noted German author, has been involved in several electronic music projects together with many established musicians in this genre; a particular genre that feels so at home in electronic music mecca Germany.

Meinecke is part of the German group F.S.K., founded in 1980, and is also a radio DJ with his own show Bayerische Rundfunk. Did I also mention he was a staff columnist for many years at the German publication Grooves? His collected work as a columnist was recently published under the name Analog.

Talk about versatility. He’s all over the creative map.

This Thursday Meinecke will turn some tables at Södra Bar. Mr. Meinecke’s Stockholm visit will be more than just a gig for all the German electronic enthusiasts out there. Don’t make the very very poor choice of missing it.
