WeSC has added a seasoned, fashion favourite to their women’s line in the form of Carin Wester. The line previously occupied by Natalia Altewai and Randa Saome of ALTEWAISAOME has become a cult classic, offering smart, streamlined updates to the streetwear label. Wester has taken the baton and turned it into a magic wand, incorporating feminine, hand-painted prints, embroidery and hairy surfaces to the “sophisticated streetwear” aesthetic of the line. The garments still maintain androgynous silhouettes but juxtapose various girly details such as bell-shaped chinos with hanging teddy-sneakers, printed blouses and long dresses, reversible bomber jackets, and trucker hats with pony faux fur. The special cocktail of Carin’s signature minimalism, sleek lines, and bold colours brings an iconic touch to the cool urban streetwear of WeSC. The collection lands in stores in late July 2016.
